Lexávelo

Introduction

Lexávelo is an English-based relex created by Classicuscool. His intent was to create a community around his relex. However, after his account was hacked, he created a new server focused on all languages instead.

The creator is an Asian student and gamer who tries to speak English and Spanish.

Alphabet

Lexavelo uses the full Latin alphabet, and a couple of words have acute accents. The creator pronounces it like Spanish.

Grammar

The grammar of English is used, with the following known differences:

• No word compounding
• Almost no inflection
• Postpositive adjectives
• No plurals
• No genders
• Few tenses from English

Vocabulary

The creator mainly draws words from Europe and modifies them to his liking. His source languages include “Romance languages, Greek, Dutch, Swedish, and few Czech, and a bit Arabic, and etc”. Word endings are fully consistent.
