Stress and pitch

Stress

All words are paroxytone, except when you need to make words distinct. Suffixes are considered syllables for stress.1 Diacritics aren’t necessary.

Pitch

Pitch has no phonemic value in Balkeon: it cannot change the meaning of a word.

The Bjornsdottirs propose rising pitch on the stressed syllable and falling pitch at the next one.1
